Marketing Database

We carefully maintain an 18,000 name database of UK personnel which provides potential targets for trial marketing campaigns across a wide spectrum of business sectors and interests.

On the Marketing Consultancy page we state how we sell the names to get the initial prospects in a launch campaign or provide some additional leads from a different source for an established product or service.

Selling Well

We are also prepared to negotiate a sale of the whole database at an attractive price and the Maintenance & Update Procedure to those wishing to create or expand their own marketing database.  We have sold one copy per week since launch.

We detail below how we maintain the quality of the names.

Companies have used our list of potential clients over the years to launch new products, advertise training and fill places in seminars and exhibitions.  Recently we produced a focused campaign of 1,000 emails and produced 2 x £15,000 sales of a training course.

Members of staff spend around 10 hours per week updating the records in the database.  Our sources are the national quality press recruitment sections; members of those organisations to which we have access and the many technical publications that cross our desks.  All "out of office” returns from our own emailing which averages up to 400 items per week replies are recorded and any alternative names captured.

There are 39 fields for records so we can design some tightly focused searches.

Each day I personally enter a few of the more obscure press references.  This allows me to oversee the work of my colleagues.

In addition, I check the key fields of 200 records every day, a cycle that takes about 3 months to review the whole database.
