- Support the day to day operation and the development of processes and procedures of a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company.
- Reported on the need to develop the strategic market focus of Claydon BioInformatic, a developer of software product. Specification of the documentation needs to support the sales to quality conscious customers and the pharmaceutical regulators. Acceptance of the report led to being appointed interim managing director responsible for setting up the quality development processes, project management and market research leading to a finished product and its Beta release.
- Maintained all AZ controlled documents and manuals, including many with ER/ES implications, when expiry dates and operational factors created the need to review.
- Interim manager of the team, of 3 Team Leaders, 5 CAD staff & 6 Document Controllers, holding and collating all the information relating to the facilities of the AZ site. Achieved the conversion of site information to electronic formats, to facilitate validation of the physical manufacturing systems. Supported the recruitment of the permanent managers. Retained to advise on work planning, staff development and change management as role of section was expanded to cover maintenance performance analyses, outsource contract negotiation, administration and costing. Provided training in specific processes and systems.
- Analysed the future market of ASD’s pipe routing software. Recommended a strategy and launched it at the Daratech Process Industries Conference in Houston
