I trained as an engineer and have a very wide experience, often applying the most advanced computer techniques to engineering and business management processes.

My experience was gained whilst working for ICI (in its best days!), BNFL, PERA, Davy, ComputerVision & Intergraph.

ICI could claim to be the creator of formalised systems thinking approaches and I have practiced and taught these techniques (with the OU) for over 25 years.

Systems Thinking is the basis of all my analyses involving the review and development of policies and strategies.  In applying this methodology I of course bring independence.

I have consulted for AMEC, AstraZeneca, BAe Systems, CADCentre (AVEVA), Compel, DERA (Qinetiq), Haden Building Management, London Underground, McDermott Marine, Postcomm, Royal College of Music, Tarmac, Samsung, & Syngenta.  With many marketing/business strategy assignments for smaller companies

You will also see my offer to send helpful documents providing more details.  How can we do this?  Are we giving away the shop?  Whilst many of our clients could do the work we do for them, their operational responsibilities deny them the time to do so over an acceptable timescale.  I also bring the independence and credibility that top management’s value. So, if you wish to enter into a dialogue please do so. 

Naturally if we go further, I would like to earn a reasonable assignment fee.  This could be for critiquing your document here in my home office or as a result of a survey visit to your site.
